April was Autism Awareness Month

Tanager Place observed Autism Awareness Month by shining a light on the many ways we work with families.

The Autism Program also has worked tirelessly this year to begin integration of music therapy and related interventions into existing offerings. Tanager Place added music therapist Bailey Condon to lead this initiative within the ASD Social Skill Groups. The onset of the pandemic created unexpected challenges by forcing the Social Skill Groups to temporarily disband, but integration work continues behind the scenes.

Outpatient Services has launched teletherapy services. Tanager Place currently offers immediate, short term, solution-focused sessions to people of all ages as well as longer term, ongoing therapy solutions to traditional clients who may not otherwise be able to access care.
