November 29 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

When providing healing and supportive services to others, a foundation of safety is critical to supporting others mental wellbeing as well as increasing long term success with treatment interventions. Whether working in the human services, disability support, or brain health fields, developing the skills required to create a felt sense of safety creates a foundation for using all other skills.
In this webinar, participants will gain an understanding of Safety as an indicator of wellbeing within the RISE: Wellness & Resilience Framework. Participants will understand safety as a way of establishing physical, emotional, and psychological security. Participants will learn how to model and create a felt sense of safety within care settings through relational practices, building trust, and by offering predictability and consistency. Participants will also understand the importance of honoring unique preferences and a person’s own voice and choice as a way of maintaining a felt sense of safety.
