Responding to Complex & Challenging Behaviors – FREE WEBINAR

May 25 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Teen Summit Save the Date 7

As a worker in the mental health or disability service field, you may have experienced clients who present with complex or challenging behaviors. Sometimes, these behaviors can feel exhausting to workers, you may find yourself feeling hopeless or frustrated every time the behavior occurs. The key to maintaining your well-being as a worker and being effective in supporting clients is understanding what is beneath these behaviors. In this workshop, we will transform the way we see behaviors. In this workshop we will discuss the basics of behavior, the most common functions and goals of behaviors, and how a person’s internal beliefs can shape behavior. Participants will gain strategies for responding to a variety of behaviors.
