If you are a teacher, school staff, coach, camp counselor, youth group leader, parent, or an adult who works with or cares about youth, this course is essential for you!
You will learn how to respond to common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) using the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan (ALGEE).
Each course will be in the “Blended-Virtual” format. Before the course date, learners will be enrolled in the MHFA connect portal to complete approximately 2 hours of required pre-course learning & activities. Learners will participate in a live, virtual, instructor-led session on the course date!
This session is highly interactive and will require learners to have their cameras on, participate fully in activities, and be present for the entire session.
