Bridge to the Future Scholarship – Now taking Applications
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Tanager is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 Bridge to the Future Scholarship, an opportunity designed to support young people who have utilized Tanager’s services in pursuing their educational and career dreams. Since the scholarship’s inaugural year in 2020, Tanager has awarded 47 scholarships, totaling over $260,000, to students overcoming personal challenges and striving for a brighter future.
This year, Tanager will award a record $100,000 in scholarships, offering financial support to students pursuing college, trade school, and certification programs. Unlike traditional scholarships, Bridge to the Future also covers essential expenses like books, tools, equipment, and room and board—helping to break down barriers to success.

Students interested in applying for a first-time or renewal scholarship can find eligibility details and application forms at https://tanagerplace.org/bridge-to-the-future-scholarship. The application deadline is March 31, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Recipients will be announced on April 18, 2025.
