Holiday preparations are underway at Tanager Place and we need community support to make a difference for children and families in need.
There are several ways you can help:
- SPONSOR A FAMILY – Donors purchase gifts for families in our programs who need support during the holiday season. Many of our families have no other means of celebrating, except through the generosity and kindness of people like you.
- ANGEL TAGS – Each tag holds a holiday gift wish of a person served by Tanager Place. Community members select a tag and purchase the gift, making the wish come true! We collect the gifts and distribute them to our community based, clinic and inpatient families.
- IT TAKES A VILLAGE – Needs compound during the holidays as many families with fixed or limited resources face increased food and household expenses. Monetary donations allow Tanager Place the flexibility to match resources to the greatest areas of need, and are especially welcome. Other individuals and groups have made creative donations such as gift card wreaths and hat and mitten trees. Still others have embarked on group drives for family board games. Whatever you and/or your group are able to provide, it will be put to good use and will make a difference.
