Amanda Vanis

Amanda has a Masters in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado. She also has a BA in Psychology and a BS in Sociology from the University of Iowa.

A graduate school professor once told me, “Just because the process hurts, doesn’t mean the results won’t be beautiful.” I promote this daily with the children and families I work with, always fostering safety, hope, and confidence in themselves. Giving children the tools and encouragement to navigate difficult situations and come out stronger on the other side, is nothing short of amazing, and what drives me to provide a supportive environment to all clients. I believe that a strong foundation is what gives children the ability to be resilient, overcome, and take charge, all which are pivotal in giving them a voice. And it is with that voice that they are able to value their true selves, and begin their journey, no matter what the path may hold.
