Clinical Staff

Bethany Jackson

Bethany received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa. She also received her Master of Social Work from St. Ambrose University. She has specialized training in in Trauma Informed CBT.

“In addition to my clinical experience, I have almost a decade of knowledge from working with dependent adults in direct care, as well as kids and teens in tutoring and school settings. My greatest takeaway from these positions is that every person wants to connect, feel heard, and have space held for their biggest emotions and challenges. I’m guided by the knowledge that the client is the expert on their own life and story. My job is to facilitate the exploration of their story in a way that will be most beneficial for the client and their family. I do this through the use of creative and performing arts, where the goal is not to create an end product, but to enjoy and learn from the act of creation.”
