Social Skills Groups can help children on the autism spectrum understand how to relate and communicate with others. Children in kindergarten through high school may participate in Social Skills Groups. If you think the Social Skills Groups might be right for your child please call Tanager to learn more, 319-365-9164.
If the Cedar Rapids School District cancels school or releases school early due to weather, Tanager Social Skills Groups will not meet that evening. Social skills coaches will post the announcement on the Tanager Facebook page and with local television stations.
Planning for emergencies can be a challenge for families with a child on the spectrum. Tanager’s resources and tips help family members and caregivers create emergency safety plans for loved ones on the autism spectrum.
