Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in history at the University of St. Thomas, and his Master of Science in counselor education at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.

“The opportunity to work with kids in this kind of manner is something entirely unique to my experience. And, honestly, it is something I wish had been provided in the schools I attended growing up. The ability to impact kids in this way, provide support and care, and just be a positive presence for them is something I felt connected to, especially when meeting the team I’d be a part of at Tanager Place.”

Michael is an outdoor enthusiast and says the opportunity with Tanager Place was an experience he couldn’t pass up.
