At Tanager Place, the health and well-being of the families we serve, our employees, and our communities are our top priority. We understand the concern and uncertainty about coronavirus (COVID-19). Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about COVID-19 and how it is impacting our region.
Tanager Place has been actively monitoring the progression of COVID-19 in Iowa. We continue to follow the CDC and Iowa Department of Public Health’s guidance around reducing the spread of this virus. We have one simple objective that guides us: keeping you and our employees safe. This has been at the center of our conversation every step of the way. With that in mind, we have made several moves in response to this threat.
We ramped up cleaning services at our facilities, increased availability of hand sanitizer, and encouraged thorough hand-washing. Hard surfaces frequently touched, such as door knobs and counters, are regularly disinfected. Sanitizing wipes are available in shared stations so employees can keep these areas continuously cleaned. All clients are encouraged to stay home and reschedule any appointments if they are ill or not feeling well.
As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve, we will continue to implement plans and processes to keep those we serve and our employees safe and healthy.
