School Based

Tawny Schafbuch

Tawny earned her Masters of Social Work from the St. Ambrose University. She also received a BA in Social Work from Mount Mercy University. Children represent the future of the world we live in. I am motivated to help encourage each child to become the best they can be, despite the adverse situations they may be faced with. In my own experience as a child, I did not have many options for support for the life situations my family was facing. I feel passionate about not letting children feel that they have no one to talk to or listen to them, as I did when I was their age. To me, it is important to recognize the uniqueness and diversity in every child and allow them to express this appropriately and in a safe place.
