On Wednesday, July 10th, Tanager will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to announce its newest life-saving program. The Summit House Crisis Stabilization Residential Services (CSRS) program is the first of its kind in Linn County and Cedar Rapids and will provide critical support to our community’s youth during times of crisis.
Our CSRS program is designed to offer short-term, intensive support in a safe and secure residential environment for youth aged 8 to 17. This program is a significant step forward in mental health services, focusing on stabilization, individual and family therapy, skill building, and seamless reintegration into the community. We hope you will take a look at the attached flyer to learn more about the program.
Join us as we celebrate the launch of this essential service, which promises to impact the lives of our young residents and their families. Tour the Summit House and learn about the services and support young people and their families receive during their stay, and hear from Tanager leaders how this program fills a critical gap in children’s mental health care and tour highlight your commitment to the well-being of our community.
