Songwriters in the Round | Tanager Gala

Every spring, Tanager brings together a group of inspiring songwriters for an evening filled with songs, stories, and the healing power of expression. This year’s event features three local, Iowa-native songwriters who will share intimate, behind-the-scenes stories from some of their fan-favorite songs, sharing the process and power of songwriting as a therapeutic tool. Doors open at 5:30 for an evening filled with inspiration. Explore our silent auction, see the wall of inspiration, or try your luck in our raffle! Early intervention is vital to ensuring children, teens and young adults have the resources needed to thrive. Tanager’s prevention programs support young people to feel connected, hopeful, and confident. With these elements of resilience, we believe young people can overcome current and future challenges. Tanager invests deeply in prevention programming reduce risk of our local youth experiencing increased mental health challenges in their futures. Our extensive prevention programming includes Camp Tanager, CDF Freedom Schools, LGBTQ Youth Center, Expressive Arts Programming, Social Skills Groups, and our newest addition, Infant Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation.
