Tanager Place Announces the Meraki Institute of Learning

Tanager Place announces the launch of the Meraki Institute of Learning at Tanager Place. The Meraki Institute of Learning was formed as a way to represent the passion, dedication, and sense of responsibility Tanager Place feels as an agency to strengthen people and communities. Meraki Institute of Learning’s purpose is to increase awareness and provide learning and growth experiences rooted in authenticity, empowerment, and excellence.

Meraki is a word from the Greek language, to describe doing something with heart, soul, creativity and passion. Jennie Null, Learning and Development Manager for the Meraki Institute of Learning stated, “We believe in the interconnection of one’s own personal learning and growth and the impact it has on the world around them. When we do things with Meraki, we empower growth and inspire excellence, leaving a legacy of influence. Now more than ever there is so much content from so many places, it may be difficult for some to know which source to turn to.”

Tanager Place has been a trusted community resource for over 140 years and has led learning experiences and trainings locally, nationally, and internationally. The Meraki Institute will now make it even easier to reach out for information and learning opportunities from a trusted local expert focusing on four pillars of excellence; families, professionals, communities and systems.

Meraki is offering a free virtual lunch and learn series for the community. Topics will focus on Resilient Parenting, Mental Wellness and the Body, and Creating a Restorative Workplace Culture. The Meraki Institute also has a variety or other resource available through articles, podcasts, training sessions, a resilient parenting TV series and more. Visit https://merakiinstitute.org/ for more details.
